I specialize in carpentry, from trim/finish work and custom casework (like bookcases and cabinetry) to rough framing.
I’m a self-taught moulding pro, taking particular pride in my hand-coped joints done the old-fashioned way. From bathrooms to high-end homes, I’ve installed moulding, baseboard, chair rail, and trim.
Custom bookcases, cabinetry, and casework are a point of particular pride.
Custom sheds are exciting to me. Kits are great, too. Check out the photos in the Project Gallery of the ‘Alice-in-Wonderland’ shed I designed and built from reclaimed lumber and used doors. Painted in a whimsical style.
I’d rebuilt the gate, to my standards. Then a driver fleeing from police crashed through the fence, shattering a 20-foot section. ‘My’ gate flew 15 feet, smashed into a tree, and hit the ground…yet still remained square. So I rebuilt the fence (to my standards), including installing four new fence posts, and rehung the gate as-is (still square, no maintenance required). I stand behind my work. Even when a truck drives through.
From appliance installation and light electrical/plumbing to doorknob replacement and fixture setting, I’ll help you out.
Sink/faucet installs, garbage disposals, appliance troubleshooting, copper piping, and more.
Switch and fuse installations. Fans and lights.
Interior painting and detail work is another specialty. Whether it’s walls, trim, doors, or furniture, I’ve done it. Aged finishes are of particular interest to me.

I’m a classically-trained woodworker. Jewelry boxes, lathe turning, reproductions, furniture, and custom-designed pieces are within my wheelhouse and my fully-outfitted shop. I’ve turned lightsabers and candlesticks. Built treasure chests and toy boxes. Carved spoons and wedding goblets. Created hand-cut scrollsaw art from portraits and images.
